1. Who this App is for

The App is designed as a child-friendly companion for learning Devanagari script (letters, examples, tracing practice, and simple games). Parents and guardians should supervise young children’s device use as they normally would.

2. Advertising & Google AdMob

The App may display advertisements delivered through Google AdMob (and related Google advertising technologies). When ads are shown or eligible to load, Google LLC and its partners may collect or receive technical and usage information from your device to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and maintain their services.

This can include, where permitted by your device and settings:

• IP address and coarse location derived from it;
• mobile advertising identifiers (such as Advertising ID / GAID on Android or IDFA on iOS when available and not limited);
• device type, OS version, language, screen size, carrier (if applicable);
• app crash logs or diagnostics tied to ad SDK operation;
• information about how ads were delivered or interacted with.

The App is built with families and young learners in mind. Where required by platform policies or Google programme rules (for example Google Play Designed for Families), we configure AdMob to use child‑appropriate treatment—often including non‑personalized ads and restrictions on sensitive categories—rather than behavioural profiling as would apply to general audiences. Exact behaviour depends on Google’s SDK settings, your region, and device controls.

You can limit ad personalisation on many devices by adjusting system settings (for example “Reset advertising ID”, “Opt out of Ads Personalisation”, or Apple’s App Tracking Transparency choices).

3. Information we do not collect ourselves

Separately from what Google processes when ads run (Section 2), we do not:

• require you to create an account or log in through our own servers;
• ask children directly for their name, phone number, or precise street‑level location;
• run our own separate analytics or crash‑reporting products beyond what Google may include as part of AdMob / Play services.

4. Information stored only on your device

To remember your choices between sessions, the App may store small amounts of data locally on the device using the platform’s standard storage (for example, preferences such as selected UI language, whether onboarding was completed, and optional “quiet time” reminders). This learning‑related data stays on the device unless you clear app data or uninstall the App.

5. Internet access

Learning content works offline once installed, but advertising typically needs an active internet connection so ads can load, frequency caps can apply, and Google can operate fraud prevention. Background data use depends on your OS and whether ads are shown during a session. Your device may also use the network for store updates and system services.

6. Children’s privacy

We aim to comply with applicable laws and store policies for child‑directed or family apps (including COPPA‑aligned practices in the United States and Google Play family policies where the App is listed accordingly). We do not knowingly ask children for personal contact information for our own purposes. Advertising partners process limited technical data as described in Section 2; if you have concerns, contact us or review Google’s resources linked above.

7. App stores & platform providers

When you download or update the App through Google Play or Apple’s App Store, those companies process information according to their own privacy policies (for example, purchase history, device identifiers, or aggregated statistics). We encourage you to review Google’s and Apple’s privacy notices.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when features change (for example if we adjust how ads are shown). The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
